2. Structure
The respiratory system consists of many parts, there is the nose, the trachea, the lungs and many more.
There are two lungs that are connected to the trachea, and that connects to the mouth and nose so we can breath.

3. Function
The main function is to supply the blood with oxygen to transport all over the body, this happens when we breathe.
The nose (or mouth) take in oxygen, it goes in through the trachea and into the lungs. After the body gets the oxygen, we exhale and that lets out carbon dioxide.

4. Pneumonia Causes and Symptoms of Pneumonia
Pneumonia is caused by bacteria or viruses.
Many times people get this from having a previous sickness like a cold or a flu because it is difficult for the individual to fight the infection.
There are many symptoms for pneumonia: Cough: Mucus will be coughed up from the lungs, it will probably be brownish green, with some signs of blood. Fever, shortness of breath, fast heart rate, shattering of teeth, chest pains. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

How to Treat Pneumonia Since a bacteria causes pneumonia, this will be prescribed with antibiotics. This usually cures the person, but all antibiotics must be taken, not just enough to think you feel better (like Mrs. Curi said).  Taking care of cough, if prescribed by doctor. The person must get enough rest and sleep. Lots of liquids must be taken.
And of course, no smoking!

6. 10 Facts The oxygen that we take in goes everywhere in our body.
The blood caries the oxygen and takes it as it rushes through our body.
The organs that are involved in breathing include the nose, throat, larynx, trachea, bronchi and lungs. Also called respiratory tract.
The lungs are the main organs of the respiratory system in which oxygen is taken into the body and carbon dioxide is exhaled.
Air can also be taken in by the mouth, there is a flap that separates the larynx and the esophagus

The trachea: The trachea is also referred to as the windpipe. The trachea, or windpipe, filters the air we breathe and branches into the bronchi
The bronchi: The bronchi are two air tubes that branch off of the trachea and carry air directly into the lungs
The trachea divides into left and right air tubes called bronchi, which connect to the lungs
The blood is responsible for carrying the oxygen all over the body.
The organs that are responsible for breathing is called the respiratory tract.
