An audiobook is: A recorded reading of a book that can be downloaded and enjoyed on a computer or portable device. An eBook is: A digital book, magazine, or graphic novel that can be downloaded and read on a computer or portable device.

One Copy – One User  When a title is purchased, a copy of that title is added to your download collection.  When a user checks out a title, it is removed from circulation.  Users may request a checked out title by placing a hold.  Selectors may purchase additional copies of popular titles. Maximum Access  Annual subscription.  One copy is available for unlimited simultaneous checkouts.  Titles will always be available.  No need for holds. Maximum Access titles

14 v.11012009 | © OverDrive, Inc. 2009 | Page 14 #3: Add AudioFile Reviews Watch for AudioFile reviews in Marketplace:  AudioFile magazine is devoted to audiobooks, with more than 100 audiobook reviews in each issue.  You can add these reviews to titles on your download library's website for free!  Over 20,000 audiobook reviews are available. New reviews are added regularly. Action Item: Go to: Content Reserve Homepage > Premium Reviews. Go to Content Reserve Homepage. Select 'Premium Reviews'.

Suggested content: Local historical documents, educational materials, locally produced video or music, or anything that will benefit users. Benefits: Increases the value of your collection. Checkouts count as circulation. Action Item: Contact your Project Manager for more information. MusicVideoeBooksAudio Upload your own content. Add free content from other libraries.

No waitlists, no holds!  Choose your supplier and subscription level.  Some subscriptions offer unlimited titles for one price.  Refresh the collection. Swap out a percentage of the subscription with new fresh titles. Many Maximum Access titles are high circulating. Action Item: Make titles Always Available with Maximum Access.

Why sign up?  You don't have to search for the biggest books.  Front list titles are added to your digital collection months in advance.  Tailor DSOP to fit your monthly budget needs. How do we get started?  In 'Marketplace' go to the 'Quick Links' box, and select 'Download Standing Order Plans'. #6: Start a Download Standing Order Plan (DSOP) Action Item: Set up a DSOP from the Quick Link in 'Marketplace'.

Why sign up?  No searching or running reports.  Holds Manager does the math for you.  You can tailor a plan to your budget needs and holds ratio policy. How do we get started?  In 'Marketplace' go to the 'Quick Links' box, and select 'Holds Manager'. #7: Set up Holds Manager Action Item: Set up Holds Manager from the Quick Link in 'Marketplace'.

Instructions: Complete the following setup for every selector who will be submitting purchase orders for a single location.  Go to: User tab > Add new user.  Create the user account, and be sure to assign the SL (Submit Select List) user right.  Enter the location name to be invoiced into the 'Description' field.  Example: If a librarian from Westville submits purchase orders on behalf of Westville only, type 'Westville Public Library' in the 'Description' field. Content Reserve > Users tab.

Instructions: Complete the following setup for every selector who will be submitting purchase orders on behalf of multiple locations.  Go to: User tab > Add new user.  For the first location, create a user account, and include the following: 1. Add the location name to the login ID sequence. For example: consortium.lib.librarian_westville. 2. Be sure to assign the SL (Submit Select List) user right. 3. Enter the location to be invoiced in the 'Description' field.  Repeat the steps above for each additional location to be billed. Content Reserve > Users tab.
