Puppy mills are little farms that breed dogs. That’s all they do. In puppy mills, the dogs don’t get exercise, food, water, treats, toys, space to roam around, veterinary care needed, and love. Once dogs have reached the age of four, they are no longer needed, therefore they are killed.

Common problems at puppy mills Some common problems at puppy mills are… Since there are poor breeding conditions, dogs and puppies suffer health and socialization problems. Since dogs have bad socialization, they have a bad temper towards humans and other dogs. As some surviving puppy mills dogs grow older, they have a bad respiratory system. Many people stand up against puppy mills. There is a website called HUA (hearts united for animals) At HUA, they have many dogs that are from puppy mills. Some dogs there were born in captivity, but only know love. HUA goes around destroying puppy mills and taking in dogs to give them the care they need. You can adopt a dog from HUA, but they are strict because they want all the dogs to go to a good home.

Hopefully, this has convinced you that we need to stand up against puppy mills.
