6. River gypsies are an ethnic grope of people in Bangladesh. They are know as bedey to call people.

7. The gypsies have their own lifestyle land culture. They live in groups and do not own any land.

8. Therefore they live a nomadic life, traveling from one place to another.

9. At that time river gypsies return to the mainland and live in make-shift tarpaulin tents on open river banks. You can see their men relaxing in the tents.

10. They live in a country boat. These boats are their houses and these area part of our waters. In winter, many boats dry up

11. Throughout the monsoon, they remain busy with fishing. Men catch snakes and entertain people with charming and sell herbal cures.

12. Many villagers believe in the magical power of the gypsies. They can make an evil spirit leave someone’s body by magic or special powers.
