6 HUNCH Programs Students participate in a team experience that allows for practice of 21 st century skills. Students are more actively engaged in hands-on learning Students gain a deeper understanding of their subject areas because they are applying their knowledge Students have an opportunity to work on significant real world problems Students attendance is improved and standardized test scores can improve 2011 PMI Educational Foundation pmief.org

7 HUNCH Extreme Science Microgravity Program Partnerships Partnership between Academia, Industry, and NASA to promote STEM education Schools provide a safe working environment as well as a supportive teacher Universities provide equipment and mentors Industry provide equipment, mentors and funding NASA provides the real world tasks, mentors, supplies and possibly the aircraft evaluation
