2 www.energy.gov/EM 2 Purpose of Industry Day Provide interested parties a better understanding of the Post FY 2016 scope areas Highlight aspects of the Request For Information (RFI) Encourage industry feedback to aid the Department in developing resultant Acquisition Strategy EMCBC will be responsible for conducting resulting procurement(s) from these Market Research/ Acquisition Planning Activities

4 www.energy.gov/EM 4 LCCP Bridge Contract DOE-EM’s intent is to enter into a separate, non- competitive Bridge Contract with LANS Bridge Contract is an interim action to allow:  Continuation of the legacy cleanup activities  EM reasonable time to competitively procure a performance-based, incentive contract(s) for the Los Alamos LCCP Post Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 requirements Performance Period will be up to 24 months, inclusive of options LANS will transition the remaining legacy cleanup work after the award of the competitive contract(s) to the successor contractor(s) Anticipated March 2015 award

5 www.energy.gov/EM 5 Post FY2016 Cleanup Scope The contemplated procurement(s) will incorporate remaining EM work scope following completion of the Los Alamos LCCP Bridge Contract. Due to the preliminary stage of this planning activity, there is no Performance Work Statement available at this time. The major elements of scope include, but are not limited to: Environmental Remediation Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) Waste Management Regulatory Support

6 www.energy.gov/EM 6 Important Dates February 26, 2015 - Request For Information released March 3, 2015 - Industry Day conducted; information presented on scope elements to aid development of the Capabilities Statements March 30, 2015 - Capabilities Statements due @ noon EST 3 rd quarter of FY15 - Acquisition Plan Approved
