4 TPA CalTPA Create Own PACT ESA Teaching Event Task 1 Task 2 Task 3 Task 4 Task 5 CalTPA: Created by CCTC Create Own: Some teaching ed programs create their own, report to CCTC PACT: Created by Stanford, now used by most CSUs and private schools (like NDNU).

5 ESA: Selected assignment part of the required coursework. Focus on knowledge of community context, curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, student learning, and legal obligations. TPA CalTPA Create Own PACT ESA Teaching Event Task 1 Task 2 Task 3 Task 4 Task 5 Teaching Event: Consists of 5 tasks to show competency in planning, assessing, and teaching a whole class. Adaptations for two focus students: English Learners, and students with special needs.

Task 2: Planning Instruction & Assessment To submit:  Lesson Plans for Learning Segment  Instructional Materials  Planning Commentary

Task 3: Instructing Students & Supporting Learning To submit:  Video Clip(s)  Video Label Form  Instruction Commentary

Task 4: Assessing Student Learning To submit:  Student Work Samples  Evaluative Criteria or Rubric  Assessment Commentary
