3 High School 101: Guidance Office Students requesting to see a guidance counselor should report during break times to fill out a request form o Do not ask to go to Guidance during class, UNLESS it is an emergency or you have a previously scheduled appointment. o Once you have completed a request form, a guidance counselor will call you to his/her office Guidance counselors can help students with a variety of topics: classes, college and/or career interest, peer conflict, GPA questions, etc.
