6. Forests At one time, forests covered this area and was used to build homes by the native Americans Over time these forests were replaced by roads, farm, and towns 2 types of trees grow here Broadleaf and needleleaf

7. Climate of the Northeast 4 seasons If the state is located at high elevation-it is colder! Rain and snow-come from storms Lighthouses were built along the coast to help land their ship during storms
