AirMux-200 AirMux-200 AirMux-200 AirMux-200 MP-2104 MP-2104 FCD-IP FCD-IP V.52 In this illustration you can see that the daisy chain can be implemented using a mix of different products (in this case the MP and FCD). Mixing these two platforms allows us to optimally fit our solution to any site requirements using the best suitable product. Here we see the MP working closely with the FCD-IP in daisy chain topology. This is not the last time we see the FCD-IP Click One of our new services which allows the customer to reduce his dependency in PBXs is our Omnibus support. Drop-and-insert topology saves cost of lease lines or infrastructure investment Drop of any service Optimized solution for specific node requirements Target markets: utilities, cellular, transportation

26 4. Multiple Services with Unique E1/T1 Ring Protection
Fire Alarm FCD-IP MP-2104 4 x E1/T1 Ring MP-2100 PBX NMS Servers Typical users: Campus Cellular Utilities Unique ring protection Optimized solution for specific node requirements Any service

27 5.Emergency Services and Temporary Deployment
Central Site AirMux-200 Remote Site n x links Switch Switch Megaplex n x E1 AirMux-200 AirMux-200 DXC Temporary sites In some cases a temporary communication link is required for example in army camps, construction sites or mines in which the location changes over time making deployment of landline infrastructure not economical. Customers include: police, army, construction companies, mining companies, broadcast authorities etc. Enables mobility and fast deployment Typical users: military, emergency services, broadcast, etc.

28 6. Wireless Backup Automatic switch-over with DXC
Site A Airmux Airmux Site B CPE DXC DXC CPE G.703 G.703 Copper In order to ensure continuous service, providers, organizations and enterprises deploy a wireless line as a backup to landline; for example, in cases that fiber optic lines are aerial or when copper lines suffer of varied quality. The Airmux together with the DXC enable to automatically switch over from the landline to the wireless by activating an alternate E1 port when any active E1 link falls and goes offline. RADview NMS Automatic switch-over with DXC Typical users: financial organizations, government, military

29 7.Interconnecting Multiple Legacy Services over Packet Networks

30 8. Cellular Backhaul BTS Site BTS BSC Site AirMux-200 n x E1 Switch 10/100BT AirMux-200 Packet n x links BSC BTS Site TDM Optimux 34 BTS E3 n x E1 AirMux-200 Ethernet AirMux-200 Cellular operators use wireless point-to-point connections to backhaul traffic from the base stations to the centers such as base station controller since the topography of many cell towers (remote mountaintop locations, for example) make wire line connections impractical. In order to ensure quality of service many cellular providers will require a licensed band (such as 3.5GHZ), mainly in populated areas. In rural areas unlicensed band might also be used for backhauling. Requirements in this market segment are connecting of FE1 up to n*E1 links. DXC and ACE product are complementary products aggregating traffic in the central sites. Integration of cellular, monitoring and management traffic Future migration to IP 3G BTS Cost-effective alternative to Microwaves High link availability 0.05 ppm clock recovery 8 msec E1 or T1 delay 3 msec Ethernet delay

31 9. Voice Traffic Extension over Wireless
