2. I.Worship the Immortal King  Immortal meaning: Never dying; living forever.  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17  O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. Psalm 95:6  The perfect example: The wise men bowed down and worshipped Baby Jesus. Matthew 2:11

4. II I. Difference between the Child Jesus and the Herod in their homeland Gabriel said: 1. Jesus would save his people from their sins. 2. A virgin would be with a son and his name would be called Immanuel, which means GOD WITH US. The wise men : 1. He would be king of the Jews. 2. They would come to worship him. 3. They would present the gifts to the child Jesus. The angels : Good news to the shepherds and they were told that they would find the child Jesus’s clothes ` in a bed of hay. The shepherds : They witnessed and praised God.

5.  The Herod  He was worried and unhappy about the child born to be king of the Jews.  He secretly called and asked the wise men to bring the child.  He planned to pretend to worship the child before he would kill him.  He became very angry and ordered for the killing of the 2-year children in Bethlehem.  As a result, he died.

6.  IV. PREACHING TO the GOSPEL OF SALVATION TO THE WORLD  The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18
