3 SANFORD Located on the western edge of Sanford, the area offers opportunity for future Transit Oriented Development that takes advantage of transit from West 1st Street/SR 46. Overtime, the SunRail park-and ride facility could be redeveloped for shopping, restaurants and open spaces for public enjoyment.

6 LAKE MARY Located near the intersection of N. 1st Street and E. Crystal Lake Avenue, this station will serve as the heart of the Downtown Development District and connect neighborhoods east and west of the tracks. The walkable grid will support local businesses, existing civic facilities.

8 LONGWOOD The Longwood vision preserves much of the single family residential and grid of streets within the town and the iconic water tower will remain. It also includes new development such as multi-family residential infill along Church Avenue with neighborhood serving retail and uses supporting the hospital, medical, and civic facilities to the west.

10 CASSELBERY - ALTAMONTE SPRINGS Although currently developed with auto-dependent uses, the coming of SunRail is an opportunity to connect neighborhoods between both sides of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and E. Altamonte Drive (SR 436) into a more pedestrian- friendly manner. This station includes a first phase park-and-ride site.

13 MAITLAND This village-scaled station is part of the community vision for revitalizing area properties, job creation and strengthening connections between neighborhoods east and west of 17-92. Since transit-oriented development potential is highest on the narrow swath of land between the tracks and US 17-92, a coordinated redevelopment of these parcels would create an integrated Station area. Over time, the first phase park- and-ride could be changed to mixed-use and residential buildings.

15 WINTER PARK – Amtrak Co-located with the existing Amtrak Station, the station supports the renovation and continued use of the existing facility and maintains the pedestrian oriented character of the surrounding area. The station provides an important transportation alternative, allowing car-free access to the numerous shops, restaurants and community events held within close proximity of the station.

18 FLORIDA HOSPITAL This Urban Center station is fully integrated into the Florida Hospital campus, allowing both patients and employees car-free access one of the largest employers and health care providers. A key part of a comprehensive station vision spurred on by the activity associated with transit is a hotel, conference center, a variety of retailers, offices, and housing.

20 LYNX Central Station SunRail increases the existing station’s transit capacity and access to existing and proposed developments including the Orange County and Federal Courthouses, Amway Center, the “Creative Village” development and the 5.64 acre “400 North Orange” development proposed adjacent to LYNX Central Station with 350 hotel rooms, a 25,000 sq. ft. conference center, 600,000 sq. ft. of office, 50,000 sq. ft. of retail, and 400 residential units.

22 CHURCH STREET Given the diversity of surrounding land uses, this station will provide an important transportation alternative, allowing car-free access to City Hall, Sun Trust Center, and events at both the Amway Center and the new Performing Arts Center. Co-location with the existing historic rail station will support and preserve the historic and pedestrian-oriented character of the Church Street Historic District.

24 ORLANDO HEALTH – Amtrak Orlando Health has more than 1,700 beds and is the 5 th largest employer in Central Florida. Its facilities, advanced medical treatments, procedures, and highly qualified staff have distinguished Orlando Health as a healthcare leader for nearly two million Central Florida residents and 4,500 international visitors annually. Amtrak provides transportation to more than140,000 riders each year making this stop a vital one for the growing Central Florida economy.

26 SAND LAKE An emerging local TOD vision foresees a mix of new development and redevelopment on the eastside of the SunRail tracks, including offices, ground floor retail and multi-family residential. Transit parking is envisioned to be set back from the station to allow development closest to the platform. District streetscape and pedestrian improvements will facilitate local connections and crossings of S. Orange Avenue.
