9 What does it mean? A law - закон enactions – статьи законов maternity – материнство fatherhood – отцовство So, the family, maternity, fatherhood and childhood in our Russian Federation are under the protection of the state.

10 What does the word “family” mean? A family – is a fundamental social group in society typically consists of one or two parents and their children; a group of individuals living under one roof and under one household.

11 What does it mean? A typical Russian family–обычная русская семья A close family- близкая семья To get on well with each other – уживаться друг с другом To consist of- состоять из Education -образование Health - здоровье Upbringing - воспитание

Children have the right to protection 9. Disabled children have the right to take a full and active part in everyday life. 10. Children have the right to health and health care. 11. Children have the right to education and development. 12. Children have the right to leisure.
