5 1) Contractor classification required. 2) Place for receipt of bids. 3) Date and time bids are to be received. 4) Distinct description of project (including how and where to obtain detailed specifications). 5) Time, date and location of any mandatory pre-bid conference.

6 6) Language regarding prevailing wages. 7) Where copies of the prevailing wage rates may be obtained. 8) Bid security requirement. 9) Statement that payment bond is required for projects over $25,000. 10) Statement regarding escrow in lieu of retention. 11) For state and federally funded projects, any statements required by the funding source and any SBE/UDBE goals and outreach.

8 No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].

9 No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.

10 This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. ALL Contractors and Subcontractors must furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (AKA Division of Labor Standards Enforcement)
