3 1. Easter is for the person who has been devastated by death Death died when Christ rose 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 “But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.” (NLT)

4 1. Easter is for the person who has been devastated by death Luke 24:39 “Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it's really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don't have bodies…” (NLT) 1 John 3:2b “But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” Jesus says “I am starving! He who believes in me will live, even though he dies and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”

But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.'” God gives second chances Luke 24:12b “…he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.”

These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.” Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
