1 Transformed bodies What will our new bodies look like? “ But someone may ask, ‘How are the dead raised?’ With what kind of body will they come?” – Corinthians 15:35 the Apostle Paul had the same question.

2 Transformed bodies Our eternal resurrected bodies will be far greater than the bodies we have now. “In the same way, our earthly bodies which die and decay are different from the bodies we shall have when we come back to life again, for they will never die. – Corinthians 15:42

3 Transformed bodies “The bodies we have now embarrass us, for they become sick and die; but they will be full of glory when we live again. Yes, they are weak, dying bodies now, but when we live again they will be full of strength.” – Corinthians 15:43 “They are just human bodies at death, but when they come back to life they will be superhuman bodies. For just as there are natural, human bodies, there are also supernatural, spiritual bodies.” – Corinthians 15:44 Transformed bodies

4 Our earthly bodies can be embarrassed, get sick, and die. “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body.” – Philippians 3:20-21 Transformed bodies Our future bodies are full of glory, full of strength, supernatural, and spiritual bodies.

5 According to the verse we just read, what do you think is the meaning of the phrase “our lowly bodies”? Transformed bodies Then what do you think “glorious body” means? So what will our new bodies be like?

6 Transformed bodies “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” – I John 3:2 Transformed bodies

7 Our eternal bodies will be like Christ’s body. Transformed bodies “While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. He said to them, ‘Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have. When He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.” – Luke 24:36-40

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I stopped those childish ways. It is the same with us. Now we see a dim reflection, as if we were looking into a mirror, but then we shall see clearly. Now I know only a part, but then I will know fully, as God has known me.” – I Corinthians 13:10-13

Reach out your hand and put it into my side. – John 20:25-27
