Date of Birth Robert Fulton was born of the year of 1765 on Nov. 14 on a farm near Little Britain in Lancaster County, Pennsylania.

Family Robert had a father named Robert Fulton and a mother named Mary Smith Fulton, plus three older sisters and one little brother.

Early Childhood Robert enjoyed growing up in the lush green countryside. His sisters and him especially liked playing outdoors. He loved farm animals, wildflowers and wading in the creek that ran past their property.

Education When Robert was eight he went to a private school. He like to read book and magazines, when ever he could. Robert was a quick-thinking boy and point out new and interesting ways to complete everyday tasks.

Adult Life Robert job was a portrait painter, mechanical and civil engineer, and an inventor. He married a women named Harriet Livingston and had one son and three daughters.

Important Events At the age of 21, Robert went to England to study with the fashionable. He invented the submarine the Nautilus in 1801.

Death Robert Fulton died in New York City, NY on Feb. 24 in 1815, the cause is unspecified.

Remembered Robert Fulton was remembered because he invented the submarine and steamboat.

Interesting Thing The most interesting thing I found about Robert is that he invented a rifle that had sight and bore of original design.

2 Most Important Lessons One important lesson is that you should never give up on what you are doing. Another important lesson is that you should keep trying different things.

Hero or Celebrity I think if you are a hero you have to change the world. I think if you are a celebrity you're more famous than a hero. I think that Robert Fulton was a hero because he change the world with the steamboat and submarine. I think that a hero have to change the world and a celebrity is more famous.
