9 Summary : Meccas was a trade and religious center when Muhammad was born. Muhammad was a orphan and at age 25 married Khadija. He was a great and well respected business man. He was upset that Mecca traditions were being ignored and corruption was happening, so he went into a cave to reflected and pray. During this time an angel appeared to Muhammad. It took time for Muhammad to believe but he finally did and became the prophet.
