15 15 Considerations before you buy! The riding season in Alaska is very short. Usually May to early September. Roads are generally in poor condition especially in the interior. Wildlife on the roads is common. Due to the short riding season your motorcycle will be in storage or out in the harsh weather most of the year. Bike payments don’t stop during the winter.
