3 Persuasive Speech Purpose The general purpose of a persuasive speech is to persuade your audience to complete a form of action. The specific purpose of a persuasive speech will depend on the speech topic and call of action. For example: A persuasive speech about the importance of voting is also a speech to encourage the audience to vote.

7 Parts of a Persuasive Speech There are three major parts of any speech: 1.The Introduction 2.The Body 3.The Conclusion As you can see, writing a speech is similar to writing an essay. For the purpose of this learning module, we will be examining the five paragraph speech model.
