Gathering data On own performance within the structure or strategy – related to the role and the responsibilities linked to it Eg pivot player - part of the rebounding triangle, jumps to catch rebouns On teams performance within the zone or man to man, fast break etc. Eg how many times does the team catch rebounds, how many times does the opposition break into the zone, how many fast breaks does team play
