3 Moved SCDT to Amazon Cloud Add Corridor Library Optimized Database & Structures Added Multiple Load Duration Blocks Improve Grid Cost Calculation Improve Generator Characteristic Goals Add convergence Test Add Knowledge Base Capability Add Generation Optimization Reporting Improved GIS Mapping Add correlation of input data and factor definitions Tool Enhancements

4 Demo tool created to illustrate how Cost Surfaces are built. Will be made available to stakeholders. Transmission Cost Surface Demo Simulated EDTF RCC Layer Corresponding Cost Surface End Start

5 Default optimized corridor path is automatically optimized. Corridor Alternatives Default Auto Optimized

6 Alternative corridor paths can be also optimized and considered. Corridor Alternatives Default Auto Optimized Alternative Optimized

7 Alternative corridors are forced to cross specific points and then optimized through those points. Corridor Alternatives Default Auto Optimized Alternative Reroute and optimize through new Point

8 Alternative corridor is optimized through the specified point. Corridor Alternatives Default Auto Generated Alternative Rerouted and optimized through new Point

9 EDTF Data Viewer connection. Packaging up LTPT library corridors for upload to Data Viewer. Uploading new “rule-based” corridors to the LTPT Corridor Library. Associating corridors with lines and hubs. Discussion. Transmission Workflow Corridor Discussion

10 Today – we’re finishing up testing of recent enhancements and building the new reference case database. Yesterday – we divested ourselves from previous SCDT contractor and moved to cloud server under WECC control. Tomorrow – Budgeted for additional enhancements and technical support, expect to be ready for studies by March 2015. Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow
