3 Plants and living things Back to Overview This unit reminds students that plants are living things and introduces them to their reproduction, feeding and breathing processes

4 Understanding of plants as living things Introduction to the reproductive process of a plant and the reproductive organs in the flower: Pistil (stigma, style and ovary) and Stamen (anther and filament) Introduction to some terms related to reproduction: pollination, fertilization, and germination Understanding how plants breathe and make their own food Back to Overview

5 Learners will: Use simple structures in the present simple tense to communicate Be introduced to the passive voice in the present (it’s formed, it’s called…) Learn the names of the parts of a flower: pistil, stigma, style, stamen, anther and filament Learn the names of their reproductive process ( pollination, fertilization, germination) Back to Overview
