3 Introduction Evangelism begins in the hearts of the saved -
“We are in the business of saving men’s souls.” The Macedonian call - Romans 10:14-18; 1 Corinthians 1:21 Purpose of our study

4 Isaiah 6:8 - “Here I am. Send me!”
The nation of Israel was overcome with sinfulness - Isaiah 1:10-15; 29:13-16 The nation was unwilling to listen to her prophets - Jeremiah 25:3-7 The Israelites would not learn from this mistake - Matthew 13:14-15

5 Isaiah 6:8 - “Here I am. Send me!”
Isaiah’s mission did not change because of the grim outlook - God is long-suffering and desires for all men to be saved - Isaiah 1:18-20; 1 Timothy 2:4 Jesus’ commission of His disciples - Matthew 10:16-22; John 15: (3:18-19)

Isaiah’s mission did not change because of the grim outlook - Where does that leave us? Mark 16:15-16; 2 Timothy 3:12

Isaiah’s working conditions - “You go until there is no one left.” God’s judgment upon Israel - Isaiah 5:1-7

We must endure to the end - Revelation 2:10; Hebrews 10:36 Examples of this endurance - Stephen - Acts 7:56, 59-60 Paul - Acts 28:30-31 Jesus - Luke 23:42-43

Isaiah was promised success - “…a tenth portion in it,” What is the value of one soul? Matthew 16:26 - “26 “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Luke 15:7, 10, 21-24 What makes a tactic successful?

10 Conclusion We are in the midst of a great battle -
1 Peter 5:8 - “8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” As individuals - Ephesians 6:10-13 As a congregation of the Lord’s church - Acts 20:28-30

11 Conclusion Will I answer the call to serve, or will I make another excuse? 2 Timothy 4:6-8 - “…8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.” Matthew 10:22 - “…but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.”
