24. How can Jesus’ body and blood be part of the Lord’s Supper? Read Mark 14:22-24 You cannot taste Jesus’ body and blood in this sacrament. Still, Jesus tells us they are 100% there, without taking anything away from the bread and wine (Real Presence). Jesus never explains how four things can be where we only see and taste two. He only assures us it is true. It’s like when the Bible says that Jesus is 100% God and 100% human at the same time. It doesn’t have to make sense.
