The development of the new wind turbine concept started together with ABB (Finland) and Metso Drives
2000 The company WinWinD was founded
2001 Pilot plant (1 MW) was taken into use
2002 Industrial production started
Multi-megawatt turbine development and a pilot plant (3 MW).
