4 Economic Benefits Inward investment - NET Phase Two is a £570m PFI scheme. Job creation - both directly and indirectly, resulting in the creation of jobs and contracts for local suppliers. Regeneration – Southside, ng2, Science Park, Medipark and Beeston Town Centre. Employment & transport links – passengers directly linked to large employers; QMC; universities; and to the M1. Congestion relief - remove an additional three million car journeys and overall generate over 20 million tram journeys each year.
