Its ultimate scope is to insert geriatric palliative care in the EU agenda, hoping it becomes a human right one day. The manifesto can be downloaded from the EAPC website There is urgency to develop palliative care services for elderly patients, experts say. The event took place at the European Parliament in Brussels on September 25 th 2012.Maruzza Lefebvre Foundation The event is embedded into the framework of the European Year for Active Ageing and Intergenerational Solidarity.
