Allows whitelists, blacklists, RBL configuration, etc. Allows you to configure multiple thresholds including an "auto-delete" threshold for spam. Has a "Modify subject and send to user" option. You can choose to allow end-users to manage their own spam rather than the administrator being required to view, delete, and manage the entire company’s spam. A much better way to deal with the possibility that "false positives" will cause important mail to be lost. Anti-SPAM Features

7 © March 9, 2004 Novell Inc. 7 GEE Whiz Anti-SPAM Features OR, you can "quarantine" all spam and then sort through it if you want. Most of our customers don't use this option. Create a “redirect to” intermediate threshold. Includes a run-time version of CRU for GEE Whiz to automatically create a SPAM folder in each user mailbox and apply a rule to move any mail identified as spam to that folder. Provides attachment blocking/filtering based on extensions and/or “File Typing” (also known as fingerprinting). Allows you to create an "Apply list" or a "Don't Apply List". No need to impose GEE Whiz on all users during the test phase. OR, you can "quarantine" all spam and then sort through it if you want. Most of our customers don't use this option.
