Obedience And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to live in obedience to him. Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all he has done. Col 2:6-7 (NLT)

The Point We are instructed to ‘be a light’ – We do that by being obedient.

Conclusion Lord, you are mine! I promise to obey your words! With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful just as you promised. I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your statutes. I will hurry, without lingering, to obey your commands. Ps 119:57-60 (NLT)

Conclussion In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing, so that no one can speak a word of blame against you. You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of crooked and perverse people. Let your lives shine brightly before them Philippians 2:14-15 (NLT)
