Flying Start Academic Programme 8 timetabled seminars throughout the 1 st semester to orientate new students to the academic expectations of The Business School Themes –Orientation and getting to know your group, IT systems, PDP and academic skills, reading, writing and marking schemes, the university experience Supported by 40 academic staff, 35-40 final year students and professional services staff Skills based teaching module Enhanced affinity, course community and retention
