The aim of my project was to test the effects of caffeine on the heart rate of twenty college students

Twenty University of Scranton college students - 10 males; 4 who drink caffeine, 4 who do not, and 2 controls - 10 females; 4 who drink caffeine, 4 who do not, & 2 controls A watch, notebook, and pen to keep track of results

I recorded the heart rate of students by checking their pulse at the wrist for 15 seconds, then multiplying the number by 4. Then I wrote the results in my notebook and converted the information onto a table.

After carefully collecting and analyzing the data, I’ve concluded that caffeine consumption does increase heart rate. When dealing with students who regularly consume caffeine, more stress was placed on the hearts of the female subjects (table 2, column 2) When dealing with students who do not consume caffeine, more stress was placed on the hearts of male students (table 1, column 3)
