1. CUSTOM CLOTHIER CO-OP The purpose of the Custom Clothier Co-Op is to leverage the substantial buying power of independent Custom Clothiers…starting with shoes. As everyone knows, most premium shoe manufacturers require a minimum upfront purchase of 30-50 shoes, with some manufacturers requiring seasonal buying commitments. Our Co-Op has negotiated shoe contracts with virtually no buy-ins! The only buy-in for our Charter Members is one pair of shoes! Prices have been negotiated to guarantee you a 30% gross profit if you sell these shoes as our suggested list prices. Returns will require the Custom Clothier to absorb shipping return charges only. As we grow, we will seek to find additional buying opportunities for our members.

3. Lloyd Background Lloyd Shoes date back to 1888, the name of their signature, bench-made line which is also our finest non-custom shoe. Each of Lloyd’s shoes is hand-crafted, some using cementing; some using a Goodyear welted bottom, all involving hand-made finishing. Again, their 1888 line offers fully bench-made detailing/finishing. The red stripe on the bottom of each of their shoes has been a source of patent rights disputes for years between Lloyd’s and Prada. In the end, each company acknowledging that they have used the easily-recognizable red stripe in their heel for years, has agreed to peacefully co-exist with the other and each use their version of the red stripe in their shoe heel finishes. At Lloyd’s, each shoe must fit comfortably…from the sole to the individual finish that makes every shoe unique. We compared many shoes leading up to our custom collection…including Allen Edmonds, Alden, Johnston & Murphy, Sanders (England), Cheaney (England), Rancourt (Maine) et.al. Lloyd’s was our easy choice for value, style, and comfort.

PREMIUM DRESS SHOES Our dress shoes have been chosen from Lloyd’s extensive shoe offerings focusing on better-selling U.S. dress shoe styles, ranging from rubber soled shoes appropriate for inclement weather and opening price points- To leather soled, cemented shoes with impeccable hand-finishing.
