1 INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER
Know that ONLY God can do this work! Be excited When you talk to the young people about prayer, look at least excited! Be specific Do not just let them pray. Give them specific things to pray for: Why we pray for...; What to pray…; Scripture to pray…; Give thanks …

2 INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER
Give feedback Once they start hearing how God is answering their prayers, they become more attentive and their faith grow that something might happen in their own lives as well. Other speakers Consider inviting other people to speak to them on prayer other than yourself and the pastor. Keep it simple and practical.

3 INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER
Prayer projects Example: Word Watch week (this is where they take turns to read the Bible out loud), a 10 days of prayer e.g. for the elections or members of parliament by name, etc. Teenagers testify Many begin to understand the concept of 'God spoke to me' when they read Scripture and something touches their hearts.

4 INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER
Invite a “prayer guest” If possible, invite someone that you've been praying for to your youth gathering as a “prayer guest”, e.g. the premier of your province or mayor of the city or town. This makes prayer VERY REAL for the teenagers! Training Train at least two of your teenagers to lead a prayer meeting and how to put the meeting together. (It's not always the noisy ones that are good prayer leaders).

5 INVOLVE YOUTH IN PRAYER
Pray for your youth Write down their names if possible, and take special effort to pray for them by name as the Holy Spirit leads you during the week. Get their cell phone numbers. This way you can send individuals a SMS as the Spirit leads you.
