3 School Description Catholic Grade School Preschool to 6 th Grade (Approx. 350 Students) Configuration: Original “L” Section Two New Add On Wings Square Central Courtyard

4 Air Sampling Mold / Fungal Spores - Visual ID of Spores - Colony Forming Units Carbon Monoxide Carbon Dioxide Temperature Relative Humidity

5 Findings: Temperature and Relative Humidity ANSI/ASHRAE 55 Recommending Limits Winter 68 to 74.5 Degrees F. Summer 73 to 79 Degrees F. Relative Humidity 30% to 70% The school was within recommended limits.

6 Findings: Mold and Fungal Spores Highest to Lowest Areas: 1. Outdoors in Courtyard 2. Boiler Room 3. Janitor’s Closet 4. Kitchen 5. First Grade - Window open to courtyard

7 Findings: Carbon Monoxide Limits: OSHA – 50 Parts Per Million (PPM) ACGIH TLV – 25 PPM (Recommended) Highest to Lowest: Boiler Room - 15 to 20 ppm Kindergarten/1 st Grade Hall - 4 ppm Teachers Lounge - 2 ppm Outdoors - 1 ppm

8 Findings: Carbon Dioxide Limits: OSHA – 5000 ppm ACGIH TLV – 5000 ppm ANSI/ASHRAE – 1000 ppm (Recommended) Highest to Lowest: Classrooms - 2160 to 3030 ppm Teachers’ Lounge - 1911 ppm Boiler Room - 1690 ppm Outdoors - 401 ppm

9 Other Safety Issues Addressed: Bloodborne Pathogens Hazard Communications Program Evacuation Route Workplace Hazard Assessment & PPE Use Fire Extinguishers not annually inspected OSHA Poster
