10 Slide 10 Running the Line – CJK 2014 Fans, Coach or Player Problems  AR may briefly say something to a player or coach  AR must ignore comments from spectators – MUST NOT talk or argue with them.  If the above does not work and problems persist, AR should use “see me” signal to summon Referee (as per pre-game)  AR MUST NEVER ARGUE WITH ANYONE Other Problems

12 Slide 12 Running the Line – CJK 2014 Assistant Referee General Responsibilities  To be in proper position to indicate offside (even with ball or second-to-last defender)  To follow all balls (shots) to the goal-line – the AR is the ultimate goal judge  To determine ball in and out-of-play along entire touch-line and goal-line  To perform any other duties as may be directed by the Referee during pre-game conference  To maintain eye contact with Referee
