3 1.Context Organizational and Cultural context Audio-video tools is a course organized by the Training Office of the University of Siena for the technical and administrative staff. The course has been designed on the basis of the questionnaires distributed among the personnel in 2003 within the DiDà project Audio-video tools: Class 08/10/2004

It usually hosts conferences, seminarios and summer schools. The classrooms are often used for professional training classes The room is organized to held the activity A cloister at the entrance of the complex lead to the classroom On the Chianti road landmarks available

The activities involve all the participants both in theoretical phase (discussion) and in the cooperational production of the clip (apprentoceship). 3.Roles Bio-Informatics: Propedeutic class 28/09, Sequence class 07/10 Students names are available on the office web-site.

28 1.Subjects Content 2.Content situating The course themes are described on the official program which has been sent by mail to all the participants, teachers and tutors Main themes - Basical theoretical knowledge about audio video tools - Basical elements on video shooting and editing - Technologies of video shooting and editing - Laboratory: practical experiences on shooting and editing The content of this course has been directly asked by several staff members within the questionnaire on formative needs distributed in 2003 by Didà. Participants selection has been managed with the university division administrators which should well know the skills of their collaborators. In order to better know their particular knowledge, the participants have filled a questionnaire on their technical skills at the starting of the course Audio-video tools: Class 08/10/2004
