2 Question Writing Keep your questions 25 words or less long. Instructional components don’t count towards your 25 words. (i.e. “Fill in the blank” or “Finish this verse”, etc.) Keep your answer to 5 words or less. Preferably one word. Be sure to add context to your question. Focus on what you want your answer to be first and you will find it easier to create a question for it. Some guidelines:
