4 You will be able to do the following on LACC FSRP Type in your flex activity report/evaluation online View the status of the flex activity report/evaluation you submitted (credited, denied, pending, etc.) View the number of flex hours you owe or have completed for the academic year Update your contact information

19 One More Step: Provide Activity Documentation Fill out a Flex Activity Documentation Slip

20 Attach the “Flex Activity Documentation” Slip to a copy of proof Proof of Flex Activity includes a copy of registration, certificate, transcript, event ticket, pamphlet, program, etc.

21 Submit document to S&OD Office, Learning Resource Center

22 You MUST submit a copy of documentation for the flex activity! Your flex activity will NOT be credited without a copy of documentation with “Flex Activity Documentation” Slip turned in to the S&OD Office, Learning Resource Center

23 When you’re all done: Don’t forget to login and check your flex activity status and flex assignment balance

24 How long does it take for the activity to be credited? We will credit your flex assignment in about 1 week after we receive your proof of activity—you must submit the activity report/evaluation online BEFORE you turn in the copy of proof; if there’s a problem, we will contact you

25 On campus flex activities with sign-in sheet You don’t have to fill out a flex activity report/evaluation online; we will fill it out for you However, please still rate and comment on the activity

26 Three easy steps to getting your flex activity credited 1. Fill out flex activity report/evaluation online 2. Provide proof of flex activity with “Flex Activity Documentation” Slip and submit to S&OD Office 3. Check your flex activity status and flex balance online

27 Some simple flex math for fulltime/regular faculty If you are a fulltime faculty, you owe 33.5 hours plus half of your total hourly assignment units in Fall and Spring semesters Out of those 33.5 hours, 6.5 hours MUST be from Mandatory Flex Day, the week before the Fall instruction

28 Some simple flex math for part-time/adjunct faculty If you are a part-time faculty, your flex assignment is half of your total hourly assignment units in Fall and Spring semesters If you taught 5 units in Fall and 7 units in Spring, your flex assignment/ obligation is 6 hours total

29 What if I am a Fulltime/Regular Faculty and missed Mandatory Flex Day? If you missed Mandatory Flex Day, you have to fill out an Absence Certification Form ( http://www.lacitycollege.edu/facstaff/staffdev/New%20Fo rms/Absence_Certification_Request.doc )Absence Certification Form Your absence will be counted as an illness leave Now, your flex obligation is 27 hours, plus half of your hourly assignment units

30 Fulltime/Regular Faculty Your flex assignment for academic year 2008-2009 is temporarily set to 27 hours and 6.5 hours for Mandatory Flex Day. Your flex assignment for academic year 2008-2009 will be updated in January when we have the record of your hourly assignment

31 Part-time/Adjunct Faculty Your flex assignment for academic year 2008-2009 is temporarily set to 9 hours. Your flex assignment for academic year 2008-2009 will be updated in January when we have the record of your hourly assignment

32 Now, YOU are in control of your flex! Type in your flex activity report/evaluation online View the status of the flex activity report/evaluation you submitted (credited, denied, pending, etc.) View the number of flex hours you owe or have completed for the academic year Reset your password/Update your contact information
