The Mission  We need the Fathers protection, vs. 11, 12, 15  Who watches over us? o Psalm 1:6 says, “For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous.”  Protection means that Satan cannot take our hearts/Soul from God  We receive Soul Protection 1. Spiritual Formation  Jesus trained their souls for living in this world  Vs. 11, God is called “Holy Father.” o His holiness contrasts the world ‘unholiness.’  The Father keeps us in a spirit of unity o The unity is being united with Christ  Christ formed in us gives us strength 2.
