1 2015 Men’s Golf Association Season Information Packet

2 Dear MGA Members, With the New Year here, that means your 2015 MGA season is set to kickoff this month. While the PGA Tour may take some time off after their season, we of the River Hills MGA continue to roll right along. The MGA has been and will continue to be an association that evolves and we hope to feed off of last years success to make 2015 an even more exciting and enjoyable season. We continue to encourage the use of our MGA website that will feature all event information and a directory of MGA member’s names and contact information once we have finalized all of the names of those joining the association. The “Player of the Year Point’s Race” structure has been revised to award points based on both Gross and Net order of finish for each event (100% of the field). The new points structure will add an emphasis on “Individual” event success (full points), while all team events will incorporate “Split” points between teammates. Two Player of the Year’s (White & Gold) will still be awarded based on your accumulated points throughout the season (Gross/Net feed into the same points race). The 2015 schedule consists of monthly events, with six (6) “Major’s” – all of which promise to be both fun and competitive for all who take part. The annual billing ($100 dues) for the 2015 Men’s Golf Association has appeared on your December statements. Being a member of the MGA not only helps support the Men’s Golf Association and River Hills, but also brings many benefits to you directly. Off-setting the cost of tournaments is just part of what being a member of the MGA can do for you. Playing in just a few of the events throughout the course of the year will easily justify the annual dues. As was the case in previous years, if you do not wish to be a part of the MGA - simply contact the Pro Shop and they will adjust your account accordingly. All Opt Outs must be received prior to 1 March. Please refer to the By-Laws for full details of the Opt Out Policy. Looking forward to a great year for the MGA and its members, Logan Kittinger 2015 MGA President
