2. The boys of Blink-182 are from San Diego, they are Tom DeLonge (guitar/vocals), Mark Hoppus (bass/vocals) and Travis Barker (drums.) Blink-182 released their first full album, Cheshire Cat in 1995 on Grilled Cheese Music. In '96 MCA Records snagged Blink-182 and they released their second album Dude Ranch in '97. By the end of 1998 Blink-182 had been tagged as one of the most popular pop-punk bands of the year. Dude Ranch was a big success, which had a lot to do with the popular single Dammit. Teens caught the Blink bug when Enema Of The State hit record shelves in 1999 and their popularity exploded.. The following month the band released Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. The first single The Rock Show is a big hit and the video. Blink- 182's self-titled album is due out in November of 2003, but in this year Blink broke up.

4. In this song the author wants to speak about his ex-girlfriend who left him; in fact the central message of the text concerns the singer’s sentiments. Obviously in the song there are more lines in which we can find how much the author still loves his ex-girlfriend and since this love is very strong the singer wants to show this feeling all over the world. The singer with this song wants to turn back and stay with this loved girl because he misses her.

5. The author considers his loved girl as an angel from heaven but present in his nightmares. Perhaps she is the only good thing in his nightmares. But this “angel” is also present as a shadow in the morgue or a victim of the darkness in the valley. With this poetic elements the writer expresses that everything is dark and the atmosphere is frightening but the love for his girl can live everywhere even in the dark shadows of a morgue or of a dark valley. These are all poetic devices and most of them are metaphors and epithets. He uses comparisons and repetitions like: “I miss you, I miss you”. In the second stanza the things seem to get worse as his nightmares are more gloomy. In our opinion in the song there is a strong desire of the artist to end this suffering, and to hug his beloved. We have noticed another important point, exactly in the refrain of the song "Don't waste your time on me you're already, the voice inside my head"... In this affirmation the singer shows his love to his girl, and tells her not to waste her time, because she is inside the head of the artist.

6. Mary was Anthony’s girlfriend since they were 15. They were finally thinking to get married after 10 years of engagement. But Marry didn’t know that Anthony had a bad habit of drinking too much, she never noticed this but one day Anthony drank too much and came back home with a very aggressive behaviour. They had a big argument and Mary decided to leave him, so she packed her things and went living with her friends. Anthony realized what really happened the day after but it was too late. He cried a lot and suffered for this event for many days and for this reason he finally managed to stop drinking. But the worst thing is that he is still alone. Anthony decides to make up with Mary and so so he wrote a song for her called “ I miss you “. When Mary reads this song falls in love with him another time and decides to forgive him for his big mistake and so they come back home together and make love. One week later they got married and now are living happily ever after !!
