Activity on their repasito sheet. ¿Cierto o Falso? Activity (5 minutes) Describe people, places, and situations in the past using the imperfect tense Childhood/ Toys vocabulary -Ask and answer simple questions and give reasons for answers. -Talk about personal preferences, emotions and opinions with some explanation. -Identify childhood experiences in the target culture. -Identify childhood toys and games from the target culture. -Compare childhood experiences in the target culture with their own or those in the United States. -Access authentic materials in the target language -Participate in children's games practiced in the target culture.

Students will form a big circle around the room and as the Spanish music is playing they will pass the ball clockwise. When the music stops, whoever was the last to touch the ball will be asked to define a vocabulary word. This is a very high energy and interactive game. (10 minutes) 2.Next, students will each get a clicker device to take the Vocabulary Quiz through the ActivInspire software. Students will be given 2 minutes to respond to each multiple choice question. Modification: Print the quiz for students to write on. (25 minutes)Vocabulary Quiz 3.Lastly, together we will watch a “Juegos Tradicionales” (1-2-3 Calabaza) video about traditional childhood games in Spanish-speaking countries and discuss how the are similar/different than the games that we play as children.
