2. Monster in My Room is about the issue of child abuse. It is a poster of advertisement created by Baltimore Child Abuse Center. The date in which it was created and first published by is unknown.

3. In the background, you can see a man, maybe her father or family member, standing in the little girls door way. The light from outside the room is making the mans shadow stand out. The little girls face really stands out because of it being way lighter than the dark background. The little girl has a tear rolling down her cheek to symbolize the hurt she feels and how scared she is. Technique The words “There's a monster in my room.” really stand out against the dark background with the white lettering. This was done so the audience knows how the little girl describes her abuser.

4. Audience The intended audience is really everybody but I think it leans more toward the victims of abusers and the abusers as well as the victims families.

5. The purpose of this poster is to help stop child abuse. Baltimore Child Abuse Center wants people to start stepping up and helping these little kids. They need your help to stop their “monsters” from hurting them again. This poster should touch peoples hearts and make them want to help save these little kids from child abuse.

6. Pathos: The author conveys sadness, hurt and anger in this photo. The audience is directed toward everybody. The conclusion the author draws is that everybody needs to help these little kids from being abused. The whole picture pretty much sums it all up by the hurt you see in the little girls eyes and the tear that rolls down her little cheek.
