10 Oversees the research pillar of ESG Undergrads are incorporated into the process to make them familiar with research We work towards professional development, which includes items such as: Published manuscripts Conferences Educational & leadership opportunities Offers mentorship Graduate ESG

12 CAMCO & Eta Sigma Gamma Cancer Advocacy Movement for Colleges & Outreach Promote cancer prevention, early detection, and how students can help ESG is one organization out of four at TAMU that is participating in CAMCO Working with Scott & White- Nadja

13 Encourage college students to join the Marrow Registry Educate on the myths and facts about being a bone marrow donor Coordinate a BE THE MATCH Registry Drive Facilitate a focus group about marrow donation BE THE MATCH Marrow Registry

14 Attendance is required at all of the ESG meetings Everyone is given one free absence For every absence beyond this that is not University excused must be made up by acquiring additional points (1 point for every missed meeting) Attendance

15 National ESG Organization requires that all members attend the meetings in business casual attire If there is a reason you cannot dress in business casual please discuss it with the officers/advisors Dress Code

16 Must get a total of 8 points over the year (Fall and Spring semester) to be inducted in the Spring 2 Research, 2 Teaching, 2 Service, and 2 from any category ESG Alpha Pi Point System

19 New Members: $135 National dues-$50 Local dues - $35 Initiation fee - $50 Returning Members: $85 National dues- $50 Local dues - $35 Membership Fees Dues need to be paid at the first meeting (September 20)

20 Graduation cords will be available for $15 The National ESG requirements must be met- 8 points acquired and must be inducted Graduation Cords
