5 5 Croatia: Ordinance on VAT ammendments Implemented EU directive 2010/45/EU  3 methods for VAT compliance –Electronic signature, EDI, Process controls –Explicitly expressed acceptance of the recipient needed before sending the first invoice  Specific: –Requires recording of date & time of sending AND receiving the invoice –Invoices must be archived in the same format as they were sent –Authenticity of the sender and integrity of the content must also be ensured during the invoice transmission –Uncertainty regarding the tax audit requirements
