2 Matthew 5: 13 – 16. 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

3 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

7 A CHRISTIAN’S TESTIMONY
Light Light is described as a form of energy: Light is a symbol of divine presence. Who is the true source of light? “Then Jesus spoke to them again saying I am the light of the world.” He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

8 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

9 Functions of Light Expose darkness: Light & darkness can never co-exist Does my life help people see more clearly?

10 Light under a Bushel (Vs.15)
We are called to let our light shine to the maximum. You are the Light What are we to do with this light? We are to dispel darkness.

11 FILLING THE EARTH WITH GOD’S GLORY
Differences between salt and light witnessing Your influence, your peace, your meekness your mercy is what will make you salty to others around you. Light is visible: It works openly. We are like mirrors as we reflect the light

12 CONCLUSION. There has never been a better time for us to be the salt of the earth. There has never been a better time for us to be the light of the world. This is our time You are the salt and the light of the world. Go & shine.
