6 Ephesians 3:14-15 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named… God thinks names ARE important

7 Isaiah 62:2 The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give. God promised His people a new name

8 Acts 11:26 and when he (Barnabas) had found him(Paul), he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians. God gave His people a new name

9 1 Peter 4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. Encouraged not be to ashamed, but to glorify God as a “Christian”

10 1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:

13 With Possession Comes Authority the right to command Authority defined… the right to command, Who has it? The Pope? The Southern Baptist Convention? The Watchtower Society? Pentecostal prophets? Mormon President & his 12 apostles? Lutheran Synod? Presbyterian General Assembly? General Conference of United Methodists?

Gave His truth to the apostles

16 2 Timothy 2:2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Apostles gave truth to faithful people

17 Galatians 1:6-9 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. That truth was NEVER to be changed

20 The church of the New Testament is different from men’s churches.

23 Acts 20:32 build you upgive you the inheritance And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. The word is able to build up and save

24 The New Testament church, the church of Christ stands alone among the churches of men. Are you part of that body? A citizen in that kingdom?
