A quasi resonant type circuit comprising:  an inductor;  a capacitor coupled to the inductor in a parallel inductor-capacitor (LC) type arrangement;  a transistor coupled to the inductor-capacitor type arrangement, the transistor for providing a switching cycle;  wherein the circuit implements a quasi resonant storage tank for storing an electromagnetic energy by using a resonant current;wherein the circuit is configured to receive the resonant current in a first cycle of operation,wherein the circuit is configured to release the stored energy in a second cycle of operation.

4 Waveform generator electronics based on tuned LC circuits Application No. 11/482,900 Filing date: Jul 10, 2006 Claim 1: An electromagnetic transformer comprising:  a secondary winding comprising a plurality of turns of a first wire wound defining a core and having an approximately uniform spacing between adjacent turns;  a first primary winding comprising at least one turn of a second wire wound around the core and spaced apart from both the core and the secondary winding; and,  a second primary winding comprising at least one turn of a third wire wound around the core in parallel with the first primary winding and spaced apart from both the core and the secondary winding.

5 Claim 2: An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein at least some of the core comprises a core material other than air. Claim 3: An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the turns of the first wire of the secondary winding are wound proximate the core material other than air. Claim 5: An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the core material has a magnetic permeability similar to the magnetic permeability of air. Claim 7: An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the approximately uniform spacing between adjacent turns of the first wire of the secondary winding is approximately equal to the diameter of the first wire. 6 System and Method for Controlling an Electromagnetic Field Generator Patent No. 8098472 Filing date: May 15, 2008 Issued: Jan 17, 2012 Claim 1: A system for controlling an electromagnetic field generator, comprising:  a plurality of transistors arranged in an H-bridge configuration, the H-bridge having first and second output terminals, first and second switching inputs, and a power input;  a control transistor coupling the power input to a power supply; and  a diode having a cathode coupled to the power input and an anode coupled to ground,  wherein the first and second output terminals are coupled to the electromagnetic field generator and the first and second switching inputs receive switching signals based on an output of the electromagnetic field generator.

7 Claim 8:  The system of claim 1, further comprising a processing circuit that generates a pulse width modulated signal based on an audio signal and a reference signal and provides the pulse width modulated signal to a base of the control transistor. Claim 10:  A system for controlling a resonant device, comprising:  a control transistor having a collector coupled to a first terminal of a power supply and an emitter coupled to a first terminal of the resonant device;  a first diode having a cathode coupled to the first terminal of the power supply and an anode coupled to the first terminal of the resonant device;  a second diode having a cathode coupled to the first terminal of the resonant device and an anode coupled to a second terminal of the power supply; and  a switching transistor having a source coupled to a second terminal of the resonant device, a drain coupled to the second terminal of the power supply and a gate receiving a switching signal. Claim 11:  The system of claim 10, wherein the switching transistor is a MOSFET and the switching signal is between 1MHz and 6Mhz.
