5 www.sanjac.edu Purpose To provide strong leadership to the College and the community in all aspects of workforce training. To serve as a recommending body to the Strategic Leadership Team. To position the San Jacinto College District as a leader in technical training including credit courses, contract training, continuing education units, leisure learning courses, and all aspects of workforce training. To demonstrate sound leadership to the College and the community in workforce development and education. To coordinate workforce training activities, events, and processes providing necessary guidance to ensure that offerings by the college meet or exceed community expectations. To lead the integration of credit and contract training efforts recommending appropriate communication to ensure that the college and community are well informed regarding college offerings. To oversee program expansion and development inclusive of partnership opportunities with neighboring community colleges and other providers.
